The following announcement was sent to IAM Data Customers on Tuesday, June 6th:

IAM Data Customer,

Please be advised that IAM will be decommissioning its Public LDAP service on Wednesday, June 21st at 10am. All registered clients have been notified and have confirmed that they are no longer using this service. Stage Public LDAP has been suspended for several months.

Public LDAP Hostnames:

• phonebook.iam.harvard.edu
• phonebook-hu.iam.harvard.edu

Note that this change does not impact the Harvard LDAP service, which will remain available (e.g. ldap-shadow.iam.harvard.edu).

If you believe you are still using IAM’s Public LDAP service, please notify the IAM team immediately by emailing iam_help@harvard.edu so we can work with you to understand your use case and identify alternative support options.
