IAM Sprint 1 - PI-12 Complete

The first sprint (2 weeks of development) is in the books and our twelfth consecutive quarter of execution is underway.

As described in our last news article IAM is going to attempt to provide regular updates on our development and operational progress. Please see the attached files for more complete details but some of the high-level items are as follows:

  • 12 of 33 features have begun development (36%)
  • 1 of 33 features has been completed (3%)
  • Completed 26 ITSM changes
  • Our operations team updated 980 tickets and closed 478

The theme of Sprint 1 for PI-12 was setting a foundation for future sprint deliverables and we believe we made great progress in that effort. The key deliverable for this Sprint was enabling Harvard to officially become an InCommon (Internet2) Research and Scholarship entity which allows for "an easier method for participants to provide collaborative services for researchers and scholars via their federated identities by reducing the policy interpretation, inter-institutional agreements, and system configuration needed for those services."
