Guide for Creating HarvardKey Stage Accounts

If you need a HarvardKey Stage account to access applications integrated with Okta Preview (Stage), please follow these steps. Any local host application you wish to integrate with HarvardKey must be integrated with Stage.

1. Submit a request
   1. Send an email to iam_help@harvard.edu requesting the creation of a personal HarvardKey Stage account. Please provide your current username and the HarvardKey Stage applications you will need access to.
2. Wait for IAM to prepare your account
   1. The IAM team will create your account and send a secure email with your Stage account credentials.
3. Finalize your account
   1. Follow the instructions provided in the IAM email to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and set your own password. We recommend adding your HarvardKey Stage credentials to your password manager since there is no way to recover a password in the Stage environment without IAM assistance.
